The staff welcomed us very warmly and professionally. The breakfast was excellent and very generous. The room was beautifully decorated. The hotel is perfectly located, just a stone's throw from the cathedral and the lake. There is a nice terrace on the top floor. It was absolutely perfect.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel due to its excellent location, friendly atmosphere, and particularly helpful staff, especially Chloe at reception (though all the staff were wonderful). Chloe provided valuable assistance and advice for our trip to Ninh Binh, which would have been even more incredible if not for the unavoidable rain! The restaurant served delicious food with very attentive and cheerful staff, making it a great place to dine at reasonable prices. We would definitely choose to stay here again ❤️🇻🇳🇸🇭

The staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing. Everyone was exceptionally kind and helpful, offering plenty of suggestions on places to visit, what to eat, and more. They even assisted us in booking tickets for the water puppet show! The buffet breakfast was fantastic, and the dinner menu was delightful as well. Overall, our experience at this hotel was delightful, and we would gladly stay here again!

The team at this hotel is absolutely incredible, they are extremely accommodating and friendly. Perhaps one of the best experiences I've ever had while traveling abroad. Kelly personally took care of us and ensured our stay, day trips (we visited Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh - highly recommend both! And you are picked up and dropped off at the hotel), inquiries were seamlessly accommodated. The rooms were gorgeous, spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The sky bar is a fantastic addition and the buffet breakfast was included in our reservation (you can even order off the breakfast menu at no extra cost). It was also our honeymoon and we were surprised twice with little treats left in our room, so lovely!! They also offer in-house massage services, which is very convenient.

After returning to Vietnam after many years and visiting Hanoi's Old Quarter for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by how much Vietnam has changed. Although Hotel du LAC is somewhat small, anyone in Hanoi would understand and sympathize. Because Hanoi is densely populated... Small yet tidy, clean, and affordable. Another noteworthy point is that from the staff to the manager, everyone is very friendly and dedicated. There's nothing to complain about the food. The most convenient aspect is that the hotel is centrally located, making it easy to get around... I hope to have the chance to revisit these unforgettable places soon. My spouse and I enjoyed a fantastic stay. The accommodations were spotless, cozy, and the location in the old quarter was excellent. The staff provided valuable advice on dining options, arranged transportation, and assisted with any other requests.

A charming boutique hotel located on a tranquil street in Hanoi's historic Old Quarter. Under new management for less than a year, they are eager to make further improvements. We stayed in a 'junior suite' facing the street, though it was essentially a double room with no additional space beyond the Juliet balcony. The building shows its age, evident in older room fixtures and loose power outlets that caused plugs to fall out. I brought this up with management, and they have plans to address it. The hotel boasts a rooftop bar spread across three levels, but it currently lacks atmosphere. With some redesigning, it could become a delightful spot for drinks.

The moment you step in, whether it's your first time or returning from a delightful stroll around the historic district, you're greeted with a warm and inviting smile. The rooms are excellent, and so is the service. I highly recommend visiting the rooftop bar for its superb views and helpful staff. Mary/Onah provided extremely helpful and professional assistance with directions and recommendations when we needed them.

Located in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, this hotel is exceptional. Although we stayed only one night before our flight, had we known, we would have chosen this hotel for our entire Hanoi trip. The location is perfect for exploring the historic Old Town; you can easily walk to anywhere from here, and it's conveniently close to Hoan Kiem Lake. The service was outstanding with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to Ken at the reception who went above and beyond by arranging a takeaway breakfast for us as we had to leave before breakfast hours. The hotel appears new, and the rooms are spotless, featuring very comfortable beds.

An exquisite resort with exceptional customer service

Overwhelming service. Everyone at the loony area is very friendly and is always there to assist if or when needed. Rooms is decent with comfy pillows and bed.

All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us advice on the food stalls to visit. They made an effort to decorate the room as it was my hubby’s birthday. The breakfast was good with varieties. The location of the hotel was convenient with many restaurants and massage places. Will return again.

good hotel, full English service, most customers are from Europe, waiter attitude is great, you could ask for any reasonable help, like shopping enquiry, you also could use RMB to have current exchange in the hotel. in addition, hotel location is good. overall, I have a good living impression here.

The location, the breakfast and the staff are great. But we booked 1 room for three, they offer us a camp bed. I'm not so happy about that, because with that our room get smaller.

The variety of breakfast and service related by the staffers at the restaurant are excellent. The staffers at the reception are also helpful. The pictures on the walls and elevators are very interesting by following the traditional design.
